Announcing AYSO’s 7U and 8U Winter Pre-Select Program with Ole Soccer

Early this past summer we launched our AYSO Select Program for 9U boys and girls teams, expertly coached by Ole Soccer – Trumbull AYSO’s exclusive professional coaching provider. Both teams currently play this fall in the CCSL 9U pre-premier league, and are developing solid individual and team play skills. We launched this program in order to connect competitive soccer players in Trumbull with Ole Soccer’s superior player development capabilities. We believe Ole is simply the best around. The Select teams principally stemmed from last winter’s Pre-Select indoor program, and then spring outdoors at Kaechele. The graphic below highlights the three key aspects of Select: (1) the AYSO foundation and principles, (2) Ole Soccer’s expert development, and (3) CCSL league competition. This all works together in support of Expert Coaching, Player Development and High-Level Competition.

We are pleased to announce this year’s Pre-Select winter (and spring) development programs for any avid AYSO-registered 8U (born in 2011) and 7U players (born in 2012) who are interested in superior skill development and future competitive play. The main objective is to train and develop kids who are seeking superior skills/foundation training in preparation for the AYSO Select Program. For this coming Fall 2019 season, we will be offering similar opportunities in the CCSL league, and coached by Ole Soccer. Teams play their games on Saturdays and Sundays. While we will have open tryouts this spring for next fall’s Select teams, we foresee many of the next group of players will come from the Pre-Select program with their Ole skills development.

The Winter Pre-Select Program will be held at Ole Soccer (Monroe facility) on Saturday afternoons beginning January 5th, and consist of 10 one-hour weekly training sessions. The cost will be $195. In addition, we will have a FREE introductory training session on Saturday, December 15th. The times for all sessions are: Girls 12:30 - 1:30 pm, and Boys 1:30 - 2:30 pm.

There will be a limit of 24 openings for each gender. Please go to the links below to register. You may also attend the free session before registering but the 24 openings will be first come, first served.

In addition, we will also be offering 6 outdoor training sessions this spring, Fridays 5:00 - 6:00 pm at Kaechele, starting April 19th. This will be a separate enrollment at $95. (Note: enrolling in the Winter Pre-Select Program does not obligate enrolling in the spring program, or trying out).
